Summer 2024 CIOS Honor Roll

The Center for Teaching and Learning and the Office of Academic Effectiveness are pleased to present the Summer 2024 Course Instructor Opinion Survey (CIOS) Honor Roll. The Honor Roll recognizes instructors who were celebrated by their students for outstanding teaching and educational impact. 

2024-2025 Provost Teaching and Learning Initiatives

The Center for Teaching and Learning is excited to announce the nine inaugural Provost Teaching and Learning Initiatives. These funded initiatives represent a range of topics that address the discipline-specific priority needs of all seven colleges at Georgia Tech; each initiative is led by faculty with significant experience in teaching and learning along with support from a CTL Liaison.

Fall 2024 | Various Modalities

Join CTL for a series of teaching workshops this fall! Topics include How Learning Works, Teaching for All through Universal Design for Learning, Teaching with Technology, Writing Learning Outcomes, and Measuring Learning Outcomes. These workshops are open to faculty, graduate students, and postdocs; they are designed to satisfy various Tech to Teaching learning outcomes.

Teaching with Technology Roundtable

Oct. 10 | Hybrid

Teaching with Technology Roundtables are your opportunity to engage with peers in a casual, conversational environment. CTL’s technology experts will share relevant campus technologies and pedagogical insights, but all conversations are faculty-driven. October 10th's discussion topic is "Connecting with Students Beyond the Classroom."

The Transformative Teaching and Learning initiative has launched a new online resource: the Teaching Project Showcase. This database spotlights recent examples of Transformative Teaching and Learning projects facilitated by Georgia Tech faculty; it aims to inspire and inform educators while fostering a culture of innovative teaching and learning practices.
